Ingredients

- 3 medium apples, peeled and sliced
- 3 medium pears, peeled and sliced
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Toss apples, pears, lemon juice, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a bowl.
- Spread the fruit mixture in a baking dish.
- In another bowl, mix oats, flour, brown sugar, and melted butter until crumbly.
- Sprinkle the oat mixture over the fruit.
- Bake for 40 minutes or until the topping is golden and the fruit is tender.
- Let cool slightly before serving.

- Use firm apples and pears for better texture.
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
