Description

Ingredients

  • 4 cups cubed bread
  • 2 medium apples, peeled and diced
  • 2 cups milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a baking dish with butter.
  3. Layer bread cubes and diced apples in the dish.
  4. Whisk milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a bowl.
  5. Pour the mixture over the bread and apples.
  6. Drizzle melted butter on top.
  7. Bake for 45 minutes or until set and golden.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.
