Description

A simple and delicious apple cinnamon bread recipe that’s perfect for breakfast or a snack. The combination of fresh apples and warm cinnamon creates a comforting treat.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cups diced apples

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in eggs one at a time. Stir in vanilla.
  5. Alternately add flour mixture and milk to the butter mixture, mixing just until combined.
  6. Fold in diced apples.
  7. Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  9. Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.

  • Use tart apples like Granny Smith for best flavor.
  • Let the bread cool completely before slicing.
