Apple cinnamon oat bars are a delicious and healthy snack. They combine sweet apples with warm cinnamon and hearty oats.

- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 2 medium apples, peeled and diced
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8 inch baking pan.
- Mix oats, flour, brown sugar, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon in a bowl.
- Add melted butter and mix until crumbly.
- Press half the mixture into the prepared pan.
- Toss apples with lemon juice and vanilla extract.
- Spread apples evenly over the crust.
- Sprinkle remaining oat mixture on top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool completely before cutting into bars.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
- Use firm apples like Granny Smith or Honeycrisp.
- Substitute maple syrup for brown sugar if preferred.
