Description

Fluffy pancakes with the sweet taste of apples and warm cinnamon, perfect for breakfast or brunch.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1/2 cup grated apple

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl.
  2. In another bowl, whisk buttermilk, egg, and melted butter.
  3. Combine wet and dry ingredients, then fold in grated apple.
  4. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and pour 1/4 cup batter per pancake.
  5. Cook until bubbles form, then flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
  6. Serve warm with maple syrup.
