Description

Apple Cranberry Oat Bars are a delicious and healthy snack packed with fruit and whole grains.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup diced apples
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix oats, flour, cinnamon, and baking soda in a bowl.
  3. Add honey and coconut oil, stir until combined.
  4. Fold in apples, cranberries, and walnuts.
  5. Press mixture into a greased 8×8 inch baking pan.
  6. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Cool completely before cutting into bars.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
  • Substitute maple syrup for honey if preferred.
  • Add a pinch of salt if using unsalted nuts.
