Description

Crispy, golden apple fritters with a soft center and a hint of cinnamon.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups diced apples
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl.
  2. Whisk milk, eggs, and vanilla in another bowl.
  3. Combine wet and dry ingredients, then fold in apples.
  4. Heat oil to 375°F (190°C).
  5. Drop spoonfuls of batter into the oil and fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  6. Drain on paper towels and dust with powdered sugar.

Notes

  • Use firm apples like Granny Smith for best texture.
  • Do not overcrowd the pan while frying.
  • Serve warm for maximum crispiness.
