Simple and healthy apple oat muffins made with fresh apples and oats. Perfect for breakfast or a snack.
Ingredients

- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 cup grated apple
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a muffin tin with paper liners.
- In a bowl, mix oats, flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk brown sugar, egg, milk, and melted butter.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients. Fold in grated apple.
- Divide batter evenly into muffin cups.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool before serving.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- Substitute honey for brown sugar if preferred.
- Add nuts or raisins for extra texture.
