- 1 cup granulated sugar

- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups diced apples
- 1/2 cup brown sugar (for streusel)
- 1/4 cup flour (for streusel)
- 1/4 cup cold butter, cubed (for streusel)
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon (for streusel)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9-inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- Add eggs, melted butter, milk, and vanilla. Mix until smooth.
- Fold in diced apples. Pour batter into the prepared pan.
- In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and cold butter for streusel. Sprinkle evenly over the batter.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Use firm apples like Granny Smith for best results.
