Description

Delicious Belgian waffles infused with apple and warm spices, perfect for breakfast or brunch.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 3/4 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup grated apple

Instructions

  1. Preheat your waffle iron.
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat eggs, then add milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and stir until combined.
  5. Fold in grated apple.
  6. Pour batter onto the waffle iron and cook until golden brown.
  7. Serve warm with syrup or toppings of your choice.
