Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 jalapeño, sliced (optional)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • Tortilla chips (as needed)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Spread tortilla chips evenly on a baking sheet.
  3. In a bowl, mash the avocados and mix with lime juice, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread the avocado mixture over the tortilla chips.
  5. Sprinkle chopped tomatoes, red onion, jalapeño, and shredded cheese on top.
  6. Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
  7. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh cilantro.
