Ingredients

- 1 lb white fish fillets (cod or tilapia)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup beer or sparkling water
- Oil for frying
- 8 corn tortillas
- 2 cups shredded cabbage
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tsp honey
- 1/4 tsp cumin
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
- Lime wedges for serving
Instructions
- Mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Stir in beer or sparkling water to make a batter.
- Coat fish fillets in the batter.
- Fry in hot oil until golden and crispy (3-4 minutes per side).
- Drain on paper towels.
- Combine cabbage, mayonnaise, lime juice, honey, and cumin for the slaw.
- Warm tortillas.
- Fill tortillas with fish and slaw.
- Garnish with cilantro and lime wedges.

- Use fresh fish for best texture.
- Adjust slaw sweetness with more or less honey.
