Description

Soft and fluffy baked pumpkin donuts with warm spices.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a donut pan.
  2. Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in a bowl.
  3. In another bowl, combine pumpkin puree, brown sugar, milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla.
  4. Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients until smooth.
  5. Spoon batter into the donut pan, filling each mold halfway.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool for 5 minutes before removing from the pan.

Notes

  • Use canned or homemade pumpkin puree.
  • Store in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
  • Dust with powdered sugar or glaze if desired.
