Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat butter and brown sugar until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in mashed bananas and vanilla.
  4. Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the wet mixture. Fold in chopped pecans.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Bake for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
