Description

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season chicken with smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cook chicken for 5-6 minutes per side until browned.
  4. Reduce heat and add barbecue sauce.
  5. Cover and simmer for 20-25 minutes until chicken shreds easily.
  6. Shred chicken with forks and mix with sauce.
  7. Serve warm.
