Description

A hearty and flavorful dish featuring beef and bean-filled burritos smothered in a rich sauce.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can (15 oz) refried beans
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 6 large flour tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded cheese
  • 1 can (10 oz) enchilada sauce
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup chopped onions
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Drain excess fat and stir in the taco seasoning and refried beans.
  3. Warm the tortillas and fill each with the beef and bean mixture.
  4. Roll the tortillas into burritos and place them in a baking dish.
  5. Pour enchilada sauce over the burritos and sprinkle with cheese.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes or until cheese is melted.
  7. Garnish with sour cream, onions, and cilantro before serving.

Notes

  • For extra spice, add jalapeños to the filling.
  • Substitute ground turkey for a lighter version.
  • Use corn tortillas for a gluten-free option.
