- 1 (15-ounce) can pumpkin puree
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1 (12-ounce) can evaporated milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Roll out pie crust and place in a 9-inch pie dish.
- In a bowl, mix pumpkin puree, sugar, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and salt.
- Beat in eggs, then gradually stir in evaporated milk.
- Pour filling into the pie crust.
- Bake for 15 minutes, then reduce oven temperature to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 40-45 minutes until set.
- Cool completely before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh pumpkin puree for a richer flavor.
- Cover crust edges with foil if browning too quickly.
- Let pie cool to room temperature before slicing.
