Description

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups sliced apples
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup cold butter
  • 1/3 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Mix apples, sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice in a bowl. Spread in a baking dish.
  3. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in another bowl. Cut in butter until crumbly.
  4. Stir in milk to form a dough.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of dough over the apple mixture.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
