Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup cold butter, cubed
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease an 8-inch square baking pan.
  2. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Add milk, egg, and melted butter. Stir until combined.
  4. Fold in blueberries. Pour batter into prepared pan.
  5. Combine brown sugar, flour, cold butter, and cinnamon for the topping. Sprinkle over batter.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool before serving.
