- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a cupcake pan with liners.
- In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients. Fold in chocolate chips.
- Spoon the batter into the cupcake liners, filling each 2/3 full.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool before serving.
Notes
- For extra richness, add a scoop of ice cream on top.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- You can use dark or milk chocolate chips based on preference.
