Description

A refreshing and vibrant butterfly pea lemonade, naturally colored and packed with flavor.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/4 cup dried butterfly pea flowers
  • 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 3 tbsp honey or sweetener of choice
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. Steep butterfly pea flowers in hot water for 5 minutes. Strain and let cool.
  2. Mix lemon juice and sweetener in a pitcher.
  3. Pour the cooled butterfly pea tea into the pitcher.
  4. Stir well and refrigerate until chilled.
  5. Serve over ice with lemon slices.

Notes

  • Add more sweetener if needed.
  • For a color-changing effect, add a squeeze of lemon directly in the glass.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 2 days.
