Description

A crispy and flavorful twist on the classic Caesar salad, served in parmesan cups for an elegant presentation.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups chopped romaine lettuce
  • 1/2 cup Caesar dressing
  • 1/4 cup croutons
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place small mounds of grated parmesan on a baking sheet and flatten slightly.
  3. Bake for 5-7 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  4. Remove from oven and immediately drape over inverted muffin tins to form cups.
  5. Let cool and crisp up.
  6. Toss lettuce, dressing, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  7. Fill parmesan cups with salad mixture.
  8. Top with croutons and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use freshly grated parmesan for best results.
  • Work quickly when shaping the cups before the cheese hardens.
