Description

A delicious dessert combining tart apples with a sweet caramel sauce and crispy oat topping.


Ingredients

  • 6 cups thinly sliced apples
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Spread apples in a greased 9×9 inch baking dish.
  3. Drizzle caramel sauce over apples.
  4. Mix flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl.
  5. Stir in melted butter until mixture is crumbly.
  6. Sprinkle topping evenly over apples.
  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Cool slightly before serving.

  • Use tart apples like Granny Smith for best results.
  • Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
