- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- Black decorating gel
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
- In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt together.
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla.
- Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk to the butter mixture. Mix until just combined.
- Fill cupcake liners 2/3 full. Bake for 18-20 minutes.
- Let cupcakes cool completely.
- For frosting, beat butter, powdered sugar, caramel sauce, and heavy cream until smooth.
- Pipe frosting onto cupcakes in a ghost shape.
- Use black gel to create eyes and mouth.

- Store cupcakes in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- For a stronger caramel flavor, add extra caramel sauce to the batter.
