Description

Rich and gooey caramel pecan brownies with a crunchy pecan topping.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix melted butter and sugar until smooth.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla, stirring until combined.
  4. Sift in flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Mix well.
  5. Fold in half of the chopped pecans.
  6. Pour batter into the prepared pan.
  7. Drizzle caramel sauce over the batter and swirl lightly with a knife.
  8. Sprinkle remaining pecans on top.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
  10. Let cool before cutting into squares.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
  • For extra gooey brownies, underbake slightly.
