- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or Monterey Jack)
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 4 flour tortillas
- 1 tablespoon butter or oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Heat a pan over medium heat and add butter or oil.
- Sauté mushrooms until soft, about 3-4 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Remove mushrooms from the pan and set aside.
- Place a tortilla in the pan and sprinkle half with shredded cheese.
- Add sautéed mushrooms on top of the cheese.
- Fold the tortilla in half and cook until cheese melts and the tortilla browns, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Repeat with remaining tortillas.
- Slice into wedges and serve warm.
Notes
- Use fresh mushrooms for best results.
- You can add other fillings like bell peppers or onions.
- Serve with salsa or sour cream.
