Description

A delicious twist on the classic cheeseburger, this stromboli combines all your favorite burger ingredients wrapped in a soft dough and baked to perfection.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound pizza dough
  • 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup diced onions
  • 1/4 cup diced pickles
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup mustard
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cook the ground beef in a skillet until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a rectangle.
  4. Spread ketchup and mustard evenly over the dough.
  5. Sprinkle the cooked beef, cheese, onions, and pickles over the dough.
  6. Roll the dough tightly into a log, sealing the edges.
  7. Place the stromboli seam-side down on a baking sheet.
  8. Brush the top with the beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
