- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Cook until softened.
- Stir in ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Spread cream cheese in the bottom of a baking dish.
- Pour the meat mixture over the cream cheese.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes or until bubbly.
- Serve warm with bread, crackers, or veggies.
Notes
- You can use ground turkey instead of beef.
- Adjust the sugar and spices to taste.
