- 1 whole turkey (12–14 lbs)
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F.
- Mix chili powder, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Rub the turkey with olive oil.
- Coat the turkey evenly with the spice mix.
- Place the turkey in a roasting pan.
- Roast for 3-4 hours or until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Let rest for 20 minutes before carving.
