Description

A rich and decadent chocolate pecan pie with a buttery crust and gooey filling.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 9-inch pie crust
  • 1 cup pecan halves
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish and crimp edges.
  3. Spread pecans evenly over the crust.
  4. In a bowl, whisk eggs, corn syrup, sugar, melted butter, vanilla, and salt.
  5. Sprinkle chocolate chips over pecans.
  6. Pour filling mixture over pecans and chocolate.
  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes until set.
  8. Cool completely before slicing.
