Description

A delicious dessert combining the flavors of churros and cheesecake in an easy-to-make bar form.


Ingredients

  • 2 cans (8 oz each) crescent roll dough
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Unroll one can of crescent dough and press it into the bottom of the prepared dish.
  3. In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Spread over the dough.
  4. Unroll the second can of dough and place it on top of the cream cheese layer.
  5. Pour melted butter over the top layer. Mix 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle evenly over the butter.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown. Let cool before slicing.

Notes

  • Let the bars cool completely before serving for cleaner slices.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • For extra crunch, add chopped nuts to the cinnamon-sugar topping.
