Description

A delicious and aromatic bread combining the sweetness of apples with the warmth of cinnamon.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups diced apples

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, beat butter and sugar until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla.
  4. Gradually fold in the dry ingredients. Stir in diced apples.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
