Description

A smooth and comforting pumpkin soup perfect for chilly days. This classic recipe combines simple ingredients for a rich flavor.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups pumpkin puree
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 cups vegetable broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a pot over medium heat.
  2. Add onion and garlic. Cook until soft.
  3. Stir in pumpkin puree and vegetable broth. Bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
  5. Use a blender to puree the soup until smooth.
  6. Return to pot and stir in cream, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
  7. Heat through and serve warm.
