Description

A sweet and crunchy Halloween treat with caramel-coated popcorn and festive orange and black drizzle.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 cups popped popcorn
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup corn syrup
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup orange candy melts
  • 1/2 cup black candy melts

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 250°F.
  2. Spread popcorn on a baking sheet.
  3. Combine brown sugar, butter, corn syrup, and salt in a saucepan.
  4. Bring to a boil while stirring constantly.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in baking soda and vanilla.
  6. Pour caramel over popcorn and mix well.
  7. Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
  8. Melt orange and black candy melts separately.
  9. Drizzle melted candy over cooled caramel corn.
  10. Let harden before serving.
