Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups pecan halves
  • 1 unbaked pie crust

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix sugar, eggs, corn syrup, butter, and vanilla in a bowl.
  3. Spread pecans evenly over the pie crust.
  4. Pour the sugar mixture over the pecans.
  5. Bake for 45-50 minutes until set.
  6. Cool before serving.

Notes

  • Use dark corn syrup for richer flavor.
  • Check pie after 40 minutes to prevent over-browning.
