Fun and spooky cookies and cream ghost cupcakes perfect for Halloween. These moist chocolate cupcakes are topped with creamy frosting and decorated to look like cute ghosts.

- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup water
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp white vinegar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup crushed chocolate sandwich cookies
- 2 cups vanilla frosting
- Mini chocolate chips for eyes
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Line cupcake pan with liners.
- Whisk dry ingredients in a bowl.
- Add wet ingredients and mix until smooth.
- Fold in crushed cookies.
- Fill liners 2/3 full and bake for 18-20 minutes.
- Cool completely before frosting.
- Pipe frosting into ghost shapes.
- Add mini chocolate chips for eyes.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- For neater ghosts, chill frosting before piping.
- Use black frosting for scarier ghost eyes.
