Description

Make Starbucks’ famous pumpkin bread at home with this easy recipe. Moist, spiced, and perfect for fall.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. Whisk flour, cinnamon, baking soda, nutmeg, cloves, ginger, and salt in a bowl.
  3. In another bowl, mix sugar, oil, and eggs until smooth.
  4. Stir in pumpkin puree and water.
  5. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients. Mix until just combined.
  6. Pour batter into the prepared pan.
  7. Bake for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.

Notes

  • Use pure pumpkin puree, not pumpkin pie filling.
  • Store leftovers wrapped in plastic for up to 3 days.
  • For muffins, bake at 350°F for 20-25 minutes.
