- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp ground cloves
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- Whisk flour, cinnamon, baking soda, nutmeg, cloves, ginger, and salt in a bowl.
- In another bowl, mix sugar, oil, and eggs until smooth.
- Stir in pumpkin puree and water.
- Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients. Mix until just combined.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
Notes
- Use pure pumpkin puree, not pumpkin pie filling.
- Store leftovers wrapped in plastic for up to 3 days.
- For muffins, bake at 350°F for 20-25 minutes.
