A delicious tart combining the tartness of cranberries with the nutty flavor of almonds.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, chilled
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds
  • 1/4 cup honey

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix flour, almond flour, and sugar in a bowl.
  3. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Add egg yolk and mix until dough forms.
  5. Press dough into a tart pan and bake for 15 minutes.
  6. Spread cranberries and almonds over the crust.
  7. Drizzle honey on top.
  8. Bake for another 20 minutes until golden.
  9. Let cool before serving.

Notes

  • Use fresh cranberries for best results.
  • Chill the dough before baking for a flakier crust.
  • Adjust honey to taste if cranberries are too tart.
