A delicious and easy-to-make cranberry apple pie that combines the tartness of cranberries with the sweetness of apples.

- 2 cups fresh cranberries
- 3 cups peeled and sliced apples
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 package (14.1 oz) refrigerated pie crusts
- 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine cranberries, apples, sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice. Mix well.
- Roll out one pie crust and place it in a 9-inch pie plate.
- Pour the cranberry-apple mixture into the crust. Dot with butter.
- Roll out the second pie crust and place it over the filling. Seal and flute the edges. Cut slits in the top crust to allow steam to escape.
- Bake for 50 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
- Cool on a wire rack before serving.
Notes
- Use a mix of sweet and tart apples for the best flavor.
- Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a special treat.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
