Description

A tangy and slightly sweet BBQ sauce with cranberries for a festive twist.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce to a simmer.
  3. Cook for 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until cranberries break down.
  4. Blend the mixture with an immersion blender or in a food processor until smooth.
  5. Simmer for another 5 minutes to thicken slightly.
  6. Let cool before using or storing.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
  • Freeze for longer storage.
  • Adjust sweetness or tanginess with more sugar or vinegar if needed.
