Easy-to-make cranberry crumb bars with a buttery crust and tart cranberry filling.

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, chilled
- 1 egg
- 2 cups fresh cranberries
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×9-inch baking pan.
- Mix flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Cut in chilled butter until crumbly. Add egg and mix until dough forms.
- Press half the dough into the pan.
- Combine cranberries, brown sugar, cornstarch, and vanilla in another bowl.
- Spread cranberry mixture over the crust.
- Crumble remaining dough over the filling.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool completely before cutting into bars.
Notes
- Use frozen cranberries if fresh are unavailable.
- Store bars in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- Dust with powdered sugar for extra sweetness.
