Ingredients

- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

- 1/2 cup molasses
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup hot water
- 1 cup fresh cranberries
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a loaf pan.
- Whisk flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and salt in a bowl.
- Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add molasses and egg.
- Mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients alternately with hot water.
- Fold in cranberries. Pour batter into the pan.
- Bake for 50-55 minutes. Cool before slicing.
