- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease an 8×8-inch baking pan.
- Mix 1 cup flour and 1/4 cup powdered sugar. Cut in butter until crumbly. Press into the pan and bake for 15 minutes.
- Blend cranberries, granulated sugar, lemon juice, and zest until smooth. Add egg and 2 tbsp flour, then spread over the baked crust.
- Bake for 25 minutes until set. Cool completely.
- Whisk 1/2 cup powdered sugar and 1 tbsp lemon juice for glaze. Drizzle over squares and let set before cutting.
Notes
- Use fresh cranberries for best flavor.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- For a thicker glaze, add more powdered sugar.
