Ingredients

- 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup whole milk, warmed
- 1/4 cup water, warmed
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
- Add warm milk, water, egg, and softened butter. Knead until smooth.
- Cover and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled.
- Roll dough into a rectangle. Spread melted butter, then sprinkle brown sugar, cinnamon, and cranberries.
- Roll tightly and slice into 12 pieces.
- Place in a greased pan and let rise for 30 minutes.
- Bake at 375°F for 20-25 minutes until golden.
- Drizzle with icing if desired.
Notes
- Use fresh cranberries for a tart flavor or dried for a sweeter taste.
- Let dough rise in a warm place for best results.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
