Description

Soft and fluffy cinnamon rolls with a tart cranberry twist, perfect for breakfast or dessert.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup whole milk, warmed
  • 1/4 cup water, warmed
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
  2. Add warm milk, water, egg, and softened butter. Knead until smooth.
  3. Cover and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled.
  4. Roll dough into a rectangle. Spread melted butter, then sprinkle brown sugar, cinnamon, and cranberries.
  5. Roll tightly and slice into 12 pieces.
  6. Place in a greased pan and let rise for 30 minutes.
  7. Bake at 375°F for 20-25 minutes until golden.
  8. Drizzle with icing if desired.

  • Use fresh cranberries for a tart flavor or dried for a sweeter taste.
  • Let dough rise in a warm place for best results.
