Description

A smooth and creamy side dish made with fresh corn kernels cooked in a rich, buttery sauce.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh corn kernels (about 6 ears)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add corn kernels and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Sprinkle flour over the corn and stir well.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and milk, stirring continuously.
  5. Add sugar, salt, and black pepper.
  6. Cook for another 5 minutes until thickened.
  7. Remove from heat and serve warm.
