Description

A creamy ranch-style avocado dressing perfect for salads, wraps, or as a dip.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp water (optional, for thinning)

Instructions

  1. Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a blender.
  2. Add Greek yogurt, lemon juice, minced garlic, dill, parsley, salt, and black pepper to the blender.
  3. Blend until smooth.
  4. While blending, slowly drizzle in the olive oil to emulsify the dressing.
  5. If the dressing is too thick, add water 1 tbsp at a time until desired consistency is reached.
  6. Transfer to a jar or bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • For a spicier version, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or a dash of hot sauce.
  • Use lime juice instead of lemon juice for a slightly different flavor.
