- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 2 cups elbow macaroni
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning and cook until done. Shred into pieces.
- Cook macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Melt butter in a saucepan, whisk in flour. Gradually add milk, stirring until thickened.
- Add cheeses, heavy cream, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir until smooth.
- Combine cooked macaroni, shredded chicken, and cheese sauce. Transfer to baking dish.
- Mix breadcrumbs with melted butter and minced garlic. Sprinkle over the top.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until golden and bubbly.

- Adjust Cajun seasoning to taste.
- Use fresh breadcrumbs for best texture.
- Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
