Description

A refreshing and creamy cucumber salad with a German twist.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large cucumbers, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped

Instructions

  1. Place sliced cucumbers in a bowl and sprinkle with salt. Let sit for 10 minutes.
  2. Drain excess liquid from cucumbers.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix sour cream, vinegar, sugar, and pepper.
  4. Add cucumbers, onion, and dill to the dressing. Stir well.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
