Description

A simple and delicious creamy mushroom pasta dish that’s quick to prepare.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz pasta (any type)
  • 2 cups sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Melt butter in a large pan over medium heat.
  3. Add garlic and mushrooms. Cook until mushrooms soften.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  5. Stir in parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper.
  6. Add cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat.
  7. Garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Use fresh mushrooms for best results.
  • Substitute half-and-half for heavy cream if preferred.
  • Add cooked chicken or shrimp for extra protein.
