Ingredients

  • 2 cups mashed sweet potatoes
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix mashed sweet potatoes, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and melted butter.
  3. Add eggs, evaporated milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt. Mix well.
  4. Pour the filling into the unbaked pie crust.
  5. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until the center is set.
  6. Let cool before serving.
